Daphne’s First Coworking Space Opens

Daphne’s first coworking space, BizPad, has opened at 26241 Equity Drive, Suite 101 in Daphne, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce announced. Designed as “an innovative, flexible working environment at an affordable price,” the membership-based model is geared toward the needs of small business owners and entrepreneurs, Office Manager Whitney Sherling explained. Amenities in the 1,262-ft2 space include 24/7 building access, fast Wi-Fi, a conference room with videoconferencing, mail and package handling, print and scanning services, and a private kitchen with access to a coffee bar.
