A group of investors who own and operate numerous restaurants on the Gulf Coast paid $500,000 for the property. Ralph Neal of Inge & Associates Real Estate represented the seller. In Semmes, an out-of town investment group paid $425,000 for a 5.2 acre parcel at 9058 Church Street behind the U.S. Post Office, according to Sharon Wright of White-Spunner Realty, who handled the transaction. The buyers plan to build a senior housing complex on the property. In Daphne, a local investor paid $655,000 for 1.7 acres on the southwest corner of Highway 181 and Pleasant Drive, according to Vallas Realty, which represented the buyer. Spence Monroe of Ashurst & Niemeyer Real Estate worked for the seller. Finally, Baldwin County 6 near Gulf Shores is to be home to Oak Place, a 32-unit mobile home park, on 5.49 unzoned acres, according to the Baldwin County Planning Commission.
