The Cookery Project Announces Mac Down

Local nonprofit The Cookery Project is holding its second annual Gulf Coast Mac Down on October 28 at 11 a.m.-4 p.m. at 23 East Main Lawn at the Brookley Aeroplex in Mobile. This macaroni and cheese cook-off will highlight connoisseurs ages 10 and up. Teams will cook for the chance to win the Golden Noodle Award. Ticket holders may sample the food and have the opportunity to vote for people’s choice winners. The event is family and pet friendly, and food vendors, music, a gaming truck, laser tag and more will be present. Tickets to the fundraiser are $12 for ages 8 and older and free for ages 7 and younger.
