Foley Main Street Google Workshop Coming Up

Foley Main Street has opened registration for the Google My Business Mini Workshop, designed to enhance online visibility and business growth. To be held at Riviera Utilities in Foley on June 24 at 5-6:30 p.m. and June 25 at 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., it aims to help businesses learn to be found and grow on Google, with bonus tips for Bing and more. Participants will be guided through claiming and optimizing their Google Business profiles, managing listings, adding administrators and ensuring accurate business details. The session will also cover the importance of photographs, branding basics and search engine optimization strategies. Lunch will be provided. Led by Lindsay Schumacher, a marketing specialist and digital expert from L. Schumacher Consulting, each session includes a 30-min. iPhone photography crash course. A grant from Regions Bank has made the workshop free for those conducting business downtown, while others can attend for $50. Bringing a phone and laptop is recommended, registration is required and space is limited.
