Bellingrath Winter Schedule Underway

Bellingrath Gardens and Home recently kicked off its Winter Wednesday programs, continuing through February 24. Highlights include “Lies the Tour Guide Told Me” with Bellingrath Home Director Tom McGehee on January 20, “A History of Mobile in 22 Objects” with Director of the History Museum of Mobile Meg McCrummen Fowler on January 27, an expert-guided “Winter Garden Walk” on February 3, a vegetable gardening talk with Alabama Cooperative Extension System Regional Extension Agent Jack LeCroy on February 10, an overview of azaleas with horticulturist Marten van der Giessen on February 17 and “Cool and Crazy Plants at Bellingrath” with Executive Director Todd Lasseigne, who will talk about the exotics that thrive in our climate on February 24.
