Exploreum To Host Cuba Exhibit

¡Cuba!, a traveling exhibit from the American Museum of Natural History, will make its final stop at Mobile’s Exploreum Science Center from February 1 to July 27, 2024. Developed in close collaboration with the Cuban National Museum of Natural History, ¡Cuba! is a bilingual exhibition that features immersive and interactive displays that highlight Cuba’s natural habitat, culture, economy, history and resilient people. The exhibition opens with life-sized portraits of modern Cubans paired with short excerpts from interviews. A long, open boulevard evoking the street life one might find in a Cuban city will invite visitors to discover Cuban culture through music, games and a variety of interactive experiences. During the days of the exhibit, the Exploreum will also show the movie Cuba by Giant Screen Films at the Poarch Band of Creek Indians Digital Dome Theater. A walkthrough video is available here.
