Mobile Ballet: The Princess And The Frog, Fundraiser Announced

Mobile Ballet is presenting The Princess and the Frog on March 29-30 at the Saenger Theatre Mobile and special fundraiser “Tiana’s Enchanted Jamboree” on March 23 at Bishop State Community College in Mobile. Following its sold-out premiere in 2021, this original adaptation of The Princess and the Frog will feature Mobile native Kaylin Wilson, a former Mobile Ballet student and current company member at New Orleans Ballet Theatre, in the lead role of Tiana; Kris Nobles, a faculty member at Mobile Ballet and former Complexions company dancer, as Prince Naveen; and Mobile’s Symone French providing live vocals. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on March 29 and 2 p.m. on March 30. Tickets are $25-$69. The family-friendly “Tiana’s Enchanted Jamboree” will celebrate the upcoming production and offer attendees unique meet-and-greet opportunities with cast members, including photo opportunities with Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen. It will also include a short sneak-peek performance excerpt, interactive storytime, tasty local treats and refreshments, children’s activities and crafts and a silent auction. It will begin at 2 p.m. on March 23 and is $35 to enter.
