Montgomery Named Mobile Arts Council Executive Director

 The Mobile Arts Council (MAC) has announced Angela Browning Montgomery as its new executive director. Montgomery will oversee the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the nonprofit. She will also collaborate with local artists, community leaders and stakeholders to promote arts initiatives, develop partnerships and expand MAC’s reach during a time when MAC continues to grow its programs and services to support a vibrant arts ecosystem. Montgomery has been with MAC since 2017 and has 15 years’ experience in nonprofit work. She holds a BS in biology from Sweet Briar College.
