River Bank & Trust’s Permanent Daphne Location Underway

Ground has broken for River Bank & Trust’s permanent location in Daphne, at 1301 US Highway 98, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce reports. The new 6,919-ft2 facility will serve as a replacement for the bank’s current location at 27900 North Main Street. Completion is expected within a year and a half. The chain, founded in 2006,  has 18 locations in Alexander City (its headquarters), Auburn, Clanton, Daphne, Dothan, Enterprise, Gadsden, Millbrook, Mobile, Montgomery, Opelika, Prattville, Thorsby and Wetumpka, all in Alabama. Its current assets are “nearing $1.7 billion,” it said.
