Alabama SBDC To Host Virtual Training

The Alabama Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network is hosting a three-part COVID-19 Cyber Security Awareness virtual course, with the first module being held on January 26 at 11 a.m. Module 1 is titled “Cyber Hygiene Awareness and What It Is, Why It’s Bad, How It Happens” and will include information on strong authentications, conducting regular backups and famous cyber cases. The full course provides information and measures to protect the integrity of critical infrastructures and prevent loss of revenues, harm to brand reputation, potential fines, legal liabilities or ransom payments. The course is led by Propelled Technologies LLC’s Anwar Shahid, a highly trained certified professional who customizes cybersecurity solutions for a diversified group of federal and corporate clients. Module 2, “Incident Response and Risk Management (Part 1),” will be held on February 23, and Module 3, “Risk Management,” will be held on March 23.
