Toastmasters Announces Daphne Event

DAPHNE, Ala. — Toastmasters International is holding a “Smart Business Academy” on public speaking tips on August 5 at 8:30-10 a.m. at the Bryant Bank Community Room at 1801 Highway 98 in Daphne. The nonprofit aims to help businesspeople become better at making presentations at work or in their personal lives. The organization is designed to improve public speaking and communication ability. The event is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers. Those wishing to attend are asked to register through the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce.
