SWMCC Accepting Sponsorships, Vendors, Donations For Kids Day

The Southwest Mobile County Chamber of Commerce’s (SWMCC) 12th Annual Kids Day is scheduled for July 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Tillman’s Corner Community Center at 5055 Carol Plantation Road in Mobile. The pirate-themed event is to prepare local children aged 4-12 for the upcoming school year by providing free backpacks with school supplies and uniforms. It will also feature snow cone and ice cream trucks, more than 50 vendors, bouncy houses, games, a beach ball drop at noon and more. Sponsorship applications are being accepted until July 3 and vendor applications until July 11. Indoor booths are reserved for medical entities offering healthcare for children in attendance.
