Locals Among Eagle Awards Winners

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Alabama State Parks recently honored winners of its annual Eagle Awards sponsored by the State Parks Division of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources. The following made outstanding contributions in support of Alabama State Parks, it said: Bryan Eslava and Michael Sumlin of Down Under Dive Shop of Gulf Shores (“Community Partner”); Oliver Caver of Gulf Shores (“Youth”); Billy Glenn Rushing American Legion Post 90 in Atmore, Mirandi Watson and Monica Fells, both of Collinsville, with Girls Who Hike Alabama, and the Huntsville Area Mountain Bike Riders (“Park Partner”); Eufaula Mayor Jack Tibbs, Jr., and Alabama Rep. Nathaniel Ledbetter of Rainsville (“Elected Official”); and Robert Black of Huntsville and Shawn Donahoo of Somerville (“Volunteer in Parks”).
