Rock & Roll Offs Awarded For Coastal Cleanup

SEMMES, Ala — Rock & Roll Offs won a Coastal Cleanup Award, part of the Alabama People Against a Littered State (PALS) Governor’s Awards. Nominated by the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) State Lands Division, Rock & Roll Offs was recognized at the 2022 Alabama PALS Governor’s Awards Program in Montgomery on November 16. The ADCNR State Lands Division and Alabama PALS said they were grateful for the contributions Rock & Roll Offs has made to the Alabama Coastal Cleanup, which invites individuals and organizations to clean Alabama’s coastal waterways and beaches. More than 100,000 volunteers have assisted in its annual cleanup event since Alabama joined the International Coastal Cleanup in 1987.
