Highland Announces Promotions

The Highland Group, a real estate development and commercial construction firm in Foley, recently announced the promotion of two longstanding members of its senior leadership team. Ryan Long is the new vice president (VP) of the company’s Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast markets, and Josh Brock has accepted the position of vice president of preconstruction services. Long has been with the firm since its inception as VP of preconstruction services. In his new role, he will be able to provide a hands-on level of direction, continue to exceed customer service goals and provide leadership for seamless integrated project deliveries. The company said that, with more than 15 years of background experience in construction project management, business development, and estimating and procurement, Brock has made an impact within Highland as senior project manager and interim VP of Northwest Florida since joining the company in 2021.
