CHCA Adds Staff

Cottage Hill Christian Academy (CHCA) has announced several recent additions to its staff. Carl Blankenship, facilities manager, oversees the academy’s facilities operations, including overall maintenance and related campus needs. He previously served as a sales specialist with Lowe’s for the past five years and brings extensive experience in carpentry and facility-related work. He has also been a member of CHCA’s football staff for the last two seasons, after coaching at his alma mater, Mary G. Montgomery High School, as an assistant. Hannah Stringfellow and Zoe Stokes have joined CHCA’s elementary team. Stringfellow joins from Dawes Intermediate School, where she served as a special education teacher with a focus on improving students’ academic and behavioral outcomes. Stokes has taught at Hutchens Elementary School, first as a pre-K special education teacher and most recently as a first-grade teacher. She also serves in the children’s ministry at her church. April Murphy has joined CHCA’s high school team and will be teaching ACT Prep, forensics and zoology. She previously taught in George County, Mississippi, and in South Korea.
