Registration Open For MPRD After-School Program

The Mobile Parks and Recreation Department (MPRD) has opened registration for its After School All Star Program, which is open to young Mobilians between the ages of 5 and 16 on weekdays between 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. This free program takes place at select community centers across the city and features homework support and enrichment activities to help give participants something fun and engaging to do after a day of classes. The program also coincides with MPRD’s After School Nutrition Program, in partnership with Feeding the Gulf Coast, available at all MPRD’s community centers from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
