Steak Out Weekend Set For May

Gulf Coast Suzuki Steak Out Weekend, a fundraiser for St. Mary’s Catholic School in Mobile, is taking place on May 1-3. It features a ladies-only craft cocktail event, a free family fun day and the Gulf Coast Suzuki Steak Out, a steak competition and tasting. The Silver Ships Mix & Mingle will take place on May 1 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Courtyard on Dauphin. This ladies-only craft cocktail event will feature a cocktail competition, live music, curated hors d’oeuvres, a silent art auction and a wine pull. Mobile’s top bartenders will compete to have the “Best Cocktail,” and guests will be the judges. The other two events will take place on May 3 at the school: the Kids’ Play Day at 9 a.m.-12 p.m. and the Steak Out beginning at 6 p.m. The latter is the main event and themed as an upscale block party-style steak competition and tasting. In addition to the steak competition and unlimited samples, there will be catered side dishes, an open bar, live music and a live auction. Tickets are on sale: $45 for the Mix & Mingle; $90 for the Steak Out; and $180 for VIP Steak Out tickets, which will add access to a private bar, premium seating and exclusive culinary offerings.
