Three Mobile County Public Schools Earn Top Marks

Mobile County Public Schools Eichold-Mertz School of Mathematics, Science and Technology; Council Traditional School; and Barton Academy for Advanced World Studies recently scored a perfect 100 on the Alabama Department of Education report card. Eichold-Mertz has earned the score on three of the last five state report cards, which are released annually. The report card measures student performance in reading and math, academic growth, attendance and (for high schools) graduation rate. The three schools will be recognized at the state school board meeting in Montgomery this month for being among the top 25 highest-performing schools overall in Alabama.
