Hayes’ Album, Singles Reach Milestones

Country star Walker Hayes, a Mobile native, recently received several awards from the Recording Industry Association of America, AL.com reported. His album Country Stuff received a gold record, signifying half a million copies sold since its January release, and his single “Fancy Like” has been 4X platinum certified, signifying 4 million “certified units” sold. The latter went platinum in September 2021, double platinum in November 2021 and triple platinum in February 2022. Most recently, Hayes’ newer single “U Girl” was certified gold.
