MFRD Names Assistant Medical Director

MOBILE, Ala. — The City of Mobile Fire-Rescue Department (MFRD) recently named Dr. Lynn Dyess as assistant medical director for MFRD. A University of South Alabama surgeon, Dyess has lent her assistance during Mardi Gras, local football games and other special events to MFRD for several years. Additionally, her husband and sons are MFRD firefighters. With the recent retirement of Dr. John McMahon, Dyess joins MFRD Medical Director Dr. Jason Eversull as MFRD’s newest team member for medical direction. They are tasked with providing guidance for continued improvements and standards in quality emergency care for the citizens of Mobile.
