Oak View Group Names Local Leaders

Oak View Group, which has partnered with the City of Mobile and Live Nation on the Mobile Arena, appointed key leaders across its venue management portfolio in Mobile, which also includes the Mobile Convention Center and Saenger Theatre Mobile. Matthew Bryant, a 30-year hospitality veteran with experience spanning convention centers, luxury resorts, waterparks and large-scale food service operations, has been named general manager of the convention center. Bryant previously served as chair of Traverse City Tourism and treasurer of the Saugatuck Convention and Visitors Bureau in Michigan, where he championed initiatives that strengthened local tourism economies and destination branding. Joining him to oversee operations at the convention center is Alphonse Stalliard, director of events, who will lead client services, coordination and execution.
