Atmore Community Hospital Names Citrin CEO

Atmore Community Hospital has named USA Health’s Drew Citrin, MBA, as CEO. Citrin is to focus on strengthening Atmore Community Hospital’s current services, fostering collaboration among the hospital’s dedicated team members and ensuring the facility continues to meet the evolving healthcare needs of residents. Most recently, Citrin managed USA Health’s Department of Neurology. He was an honors scholar and magna cum laude graduate of Auburn University. He also earned an MBA from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he was a cum laude graduate. In 2025, USA Health and Atmore Community Hospital entered into a management services agreement related to the hospital and its ancillary operations. A 49-bed acute care facility with 24-hour emergency department service, Atmore Community Hospital is governed by the Escambia County Health Care Authority Board of Directors. Established more than 60 years ago, the hospital also provides general medical services, along with outpatient and specialty care options such as home health, urgent care, primary care and therapy services.
