Franklin To Host Gala In March With Figures As Speaker

Franklin Primary Health Center has announced that it will host the 2026 Franklin Buskey Gala on March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the Mobile Convention Center. The evening will feature a keynote address by U.S. Rep. Shomari C. Figures. Franklin said Figures, a Mobile native, is a nationally respected voice on healthcare access, economic opportunity and public service. His remarks will highlight the critical role community health centers play in improving health outcomes and promoting equity for underserved populations. The 2026 Franklin Buskey Gala will serve as both a celebration of past and present progress and a call to action for the future. The evening will include the presentation of the Franklin Buskey Community Health Services Award. This award, presented in memory of Franklin’s founders, will recognize a deserving individual who embodies their success and commitment to expanding access to primary healthcare.
