Infirmary Health Opens CMG Location In Foley

Infirmary Health has expanded its physician practice network, Infirmary Medical Clinics, by adding a new location of Coastal Medical Group (CMG) in Foley. Specializing in primary care, Dr. Sandra Alexander and Dr. Wes Cowan will lead CMG at its new location. Alexander has served south Baldwin County for more than 25 years. She is a graduate of University Gama Filho in Brazil and completed postgraduate education in oncology, general surgery and medical research. Cowan served with the U.S. Navy as a physician for more than five years and retired as a lieutenant commander. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency at Navy Hospital Camp Lejeune. He is a board-certified family medicine physician. CMG has five locations in Baldwin County with specialties including family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, pulmonology and sleep medicine. Its newest office, specializing in primary care, is located 915 West Laurel Avenue.
