Junior Volunteers Join Thomas Hospital

Thomas Hospital recently had 37 students from Baldwin County High School, Bayshore Christian School, Daphne High School, Fairhope High School, Gulf Shores High School, Renaissance School of the Eastern Shore, Robertsdale High School, St. Michael Catholic High School and UMS-Wright Preparatory School sign up to participate in its Auxiliary’s Junior Volunteer program. They are volunteering in the Cardiovascular/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (2 North), Cath Lab, Clinical Education, Colony Rehabilitation Hospital, Endoscopy, Fitness Center, Gift Shop, Physical Therapy, Post-Surgical Unit (3 North), Radiology, Same Day Surgery, Surgery, Surgery Waiting Area and Women’s and Children’s Unit (4 South) at Thomas Hospital. The Thomas Hospital Auxiliary’s Junior Volunteer program is offered to high school students between the ages 14 to 17 who maintain at least a B average and have an interest in volunteering at the hospital during the summer. The program runs from June 5 to July 28.
