Roberts Joins Southern Cancer Center

 Southern Cancer Center has announced that board-certified general surgeon Dr. Eric Roberts has joined its practice. Roberts has served Baldwin County since 2019 and held pivotal roles including chief of staff, chief of surgery and surgery medical director at Baldwin Health. He also has experience in the trauma and general surgery departments at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Roberts offers procedures including breast cancer and skin cancer care and surgery for hernias, breast cancer, skin cancer, gallbladders, appendices, thyroids and colons. Originally from Mobile, Roberts received his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his general surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.
