South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Receives 5-Star Rating

South Baldwin Regional Medical Center has been awarded a 5-star rating by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for 2024, distinguishing it as one of only three hospitals in Alabama to achieve this recognition. The hospital also earned a 4-star rating on Medicare.gov’s patient survey, highlighting its commitment to patient care and experience. This honor follows CEO Margaret Roley being named one of the “Women Hospital CEOs to Know” by Becker’s Healthcare in April. Meanwhile, the hospital’s $200-million expansion project, which began in February 2023 to address the growing needs of South Baldwin County, is nearing completion, with the new facility expected to open by late October. The expansion will increase the hospital’s capacity to 142 beds.
