Grand Hotel Historian Wins National Historic Hotels Award

The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Point Clear recently announced that Susan Stein, Grand Hotel historian, was named Historian of the Year by Historic Hotels of America, the Eastern Shore Chamber of Commerce announced. Each year, the Historic Hotels’ Awards of Excellence honor, encourage and recognize the most exemplary historic hotels, hoteliers and leadership practices. The awards are presented to historic hotels and hoteliers demonstrating innovative leadership, stewardship and contribution to furthering the recognition, preservation and celebration of these preeminent historic hotels and their histories.  Stein has been with the Grand Hotel for more than 35 years, sharing the history of the Grand Hotel, the Eastern Shore and Mobile Bay.
