The Hangout To Open Second Location In South Carolina

GULF SHORES, Ala. — Gulf Shores-based The Hangout is scheduled to open a new location at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, in time for the summer tourism season, The Sun Newsreports. It will be part of Key West Village, which features new specialty retail concepts and entertainment experiences. The Hangout’s first South Carolina location will be 40,000 ft2 and is expected to create more than 300 jobs. The Hangout’s brand focuses on high-energy, family-friendly, multigenerational activities and fun. Family entertainment will include dancing and contests led by energetic cast members, fire pits, courtyard games, a retail store and an assortment of unique art acquired specifically for the Myrtle Beach location.
