Michael R. Cowart And Associates Renamed to The Cowart Group

After nearly 30 years as Michael R. Cowart and Associates, the Mobile-based insurance and investment firm has been renamed to The Cowart Group. The name change better reflects the partnership founder Michael R. Cowart, Sr. has had with his son, Michael R. Cowart, Jr., since the latter joined the firm in 2017 as a financial solutions provider who works with individuals, business owners and executives to mitigate the risks in their overall financial plan, as well as take advantage of opportunities to accumulate and protect their assets. Both men are graduates of the University of Alabama in Finance and are in the process of publishing a book on their specialty, executive benefits.
