Technology Conference Coming Up

Technology conference ASCEND 2026, a “transformative” technology conference, will be held on February 12-13 at Bishop State Community College and is described as a “groundbreaking technology conference designed for Historically Black Community Colleges,” WKRG reports. ASCEND stands for Advancing Systems, Collaboration, Education and Next Gen Development and will feature IT directors, chief information officers, Title III administrators and students from eight Alabama schools. During the conference, attendees will learn about innovative technology solutions, cybersecurity strategies and sustainable infrastructure development. The event, created by JosephOne Technologies, will include presentations from Microsoft Education leaders, hands-on breakout sessions, collaborative strategy labs and a vendor showcase.
