Mobile Bar Association Lawyer Retires From Writing Column; New Writer Added

After 35 years of writing the “Significant Decisions” column for the Bulletin, a monthly newsletter published by the Mobile Bar Association, Duane Graham is retiring as the author of said column. He wrote his first “Significant Decisions” article for the Bulletin in October 1986. David D. Anthony of Armbrecht Jackson LLP in Mobile will replace him. An associate at the firm, Anthony is a Mobile native admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2014. He earned his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was managing editor of the Alabama Civil Rights & Civil Liberties Law Review. He has worked in Washington, D.C., as an attorney for former U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions. Prior to moving back to Mobile, he worked at U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters.
