Two Mobilians Release Film

MOBILE, Ala —  Locals, Doug Kiker, a past American Idol contestant from Grand Bay, and songwriter/scriptwriter/director Bobby Ray Hamilton recently released an independent film, The Garbage Man, AL.com reported. The movie was produced in the Mobile area and released through Vimeo.com. In it, Kiker stars as a garbage man by day and club bouncer by night who enters a song contest. This is Hamilton’s second film, following Special, a hip-hop-themed venture that is to be released soon.
