Downtown Mobile Alliance Members Honored

Mobile’s The Insider Collective, brainchild of Matt LeMond, entrepreneur and chairman of the Downtown Mobile Alliance Board of Directors, was named Startup of the Year in Business Alabama‘s inaugural award ceremony last month. Other Downtown Mobile Alliance members honored include Austal USA, a Large Company of the Year finalist; the Port of Mobile Expansion, a Project of the Year finalist; and Dr. David Bronner and U.S. Sen. Richard Shelby, Lifetime Achievement Awards. Abe Mitchell was also recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Mitchell’s “philanthropy has benefited our entire region,” Downtown Mobile Alliance said.
