Gulf Seafood Gala To Raise Funds

DAUPHIN ISLAND, Ala — The Dauphin Island Heritage and Arts Council is holding its sixth annual Gulf Seafood Gala on December 3 at 6-9 p.m. at the Alabama Aquarium at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab in Dauphin Island. Chef Alec Naman has created a menu including a variety of seafood dishes, a grits station, a charcuterie spread and desserts. There will be a full cash bar and a silent auction featuring original local art and experiences. Entertainment will include classical guitar music by master guitarist Mark Habib and live-streaming TV. Due to the council being a nonprofit organization, a portion of the $70 ticket purchase price is tax deductible. Tickets are available here and in person at Dauphin Island Gallery at 918 Bienville Boulevard in Dauphin Island. Organizers expect 150 to be in attendance.
