Light Of Life Festival Announced

The Light of Life Festival is taking place on July 20 at 12-5:30 p.m. at The Grounds at 1305 Cody Road North in Mobile. Hosted by nonprofit addiction recovery program Wings of Life and Piggly Wiggly, the community outreach event will feature live performances headlined by Stephen McWhirter and food. The entire event is indoors and free to attend. There will be a band competition, a raffle for an outdoor kitchen including installation, a school supplies giveaway, free back-to-school haircuts, a bounce house, free barbecue and a wings cookoff. All ages are welcome to the event, which organizers say celebrates “a movement facilitating an environment of unity by supporting other nonprofits in our community.”
