New YMCA Branch In Spanish Fort

YMCA of South Alabama has opened a new branch at 6729 Spanish Fort Boulevard, Suite A in the Blakeley Square shopping center in Spanish Fort. The organization said the expansion marks a significant milestone, providing greater accessibility and convenience to Mobile and Baldwin counties. The new branch will offer a full fitness center, including group fitness classes, with YMCA child watch. YMCA said it features a contemporary YMCA-branded design with a community-focused and member-centric layout. “With a commitment to our YMCA core values and mission statement, we hope to expand our presence on the Alabama Eastern Shore in Spanish Fort, thus furthering our dedicated initiatives to serve more youth, families and older adults within our two Alabama counties of service,” CEO Gwen Sommer said.
