AL.com recently reported the following real estate transactions: The Square, the newest mixed use development on Highway 59 in Gulf Shores, is almost completely leased, according to Angie and David Swiger of Swiger & Co. Realtors – tenants include Brookman’s Smokehouse, A Sweet Secret Bakery & Cafe, David’s Gallery, Swiger Studio-Art Gallery, OB Vapors, The CBD Pharmer, Beautiful Buzz, Cardinal Financial, Assurance Financial, Santos Law and the Swiger’s real estate offices. Prominence Homes paid $3.256 million for 44 single-family home lots at Sunset Villas on Canal Road in Orange Beach – Ryals Realty represented the seller, and Mike McMullin of McMullin & Associates worked for the buyers. Developers are seeking planning approval to build The Bluffs of Orange Beach with 10 single-family homes on the gulf, according to the Orange Beach Planning Commission, with Cunningham & Head in charge of the project and Bob Shallow, owner of Re/Max Paradise, marketing the project. Developers are requesting site plan approval to build Atlas condominiums, a 38-unit, 13-story condo project in Orange Beach, according to the commission. Also, Raley Farms is seeking preliminary plat approval to put 105 single-family lots in Gulf Shores.
