Cumberland Farms Comes To Orange Beach

ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — U.K.-based convenience store and fuel retailer EG Group announced the first of two Cumberland Farm stores in the region in Orange Beach, according to CSP. Both stores will feature the chain’s latest design with the newest equipment and menu. The new Cumberland Farms in Orange Beach is 7,700 ft2 with 12 gas pumps. This location also features a Sbarro restaurant, with a Burger King scheduled to open in July. In February, EG announced plans to expand Cumberland Farms to the Gulf Coast by converting most of its existing Tom Thumb stores, in addition to developing new locations. EG said it “conducted extensive research that projected tremendous growth opportunity for the company by bringing the popular Cumberland Farms brand and offerings to customers in Gulf Coast communities.” Founded in 2001, EG Group has more than 6,200 sites across Europe, the U.S. and Australia.
