Hayes Jewelers Associate Wins Scholarship

MOBILE, Ala. — The 24 Karat Club of the Southeastern United States (SEUS) recently named Blake Turner, an associate with Hayes Jewelers in Mobile, the recipient of the 2022 Diamond in the Rough Scholarship at an awards dinner in Atlanta. The prestigious scholarship will be paid to any recognized jewelry school or sanctioned course within the jewelry industry. 24 Karat SEUS scholarships provide the opportunity to further their education in the jewelry industry. Turner, a Bishop State Community College Jewelry Design and Watch Repair graduate, has been with Hayes Jewelers for more than 18 years and has been the recipient of design awards from the Alabama Jewelers Association. The 24 Karat Club SEUS scholarships are made possible by the generous donations of individual members and member companies and by partnerships with other industry organizations.
