Wawa Looking To Mobile For Expansion

MOBILE, Ala. — Wawa is looking into potential sites, including Mobile, Pensacola, Panama City and Tallahassee, for new stores. Current plans are for Wawa—a 24/7 stop for freshly prepared foods, beverages, coffee, fuel and surcharge-free ATMs—to open up to 40 stores in these markets, with the first expected to open in 2024. Wawa continues to open stores throughout its current markets and is set to open 54 new stores in 2022. Additionally, Wawa has plans to enter new, adjacent markets in the next few years.
