OWA Water Park Announces Opening Date

FOLEY, Ala. — OWA Parks & Resort announced that the opening date for phase one of its indoor water park, Tropic Falls (BBN #69 and 81), will be June 27. Phase one includes six thrill slides, a lazy river, an indoor dining location, party rental rooms, an indoor arcade and a children’s play structure with five slides. With more than 100,000 ft2 of indoor space alone, the park will be covered by a convertible roof of 1,800 glass panels. Phase two is to open later this summer. Tickets are on sale. Additionally, with more than 200 total name submissions, the Tropic Falls toucan mascot has officially been introduced as Tuki the Toucan.
