Baldwin County February Housing Report

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — Baldwin REALTORS® Multiple Listing Service (MLS) reports February year-over-year increases in properties sold and average sales price, with fewer days on market (DOM) in both the “Resort” and “Traditional Residential” areas of Baldwin County. Total sales volume for the county increased by 32.5% to $322,146,476. The only area of reporting that lacks in comparison to 2021 is new inventory. “Resort” saw significantly positive trends: 265 properties sold, compared to 214 in February 2021 (a 23.8% increase) and an average sales price of $613,234. Average DOM decreased by 24.1% from February 2021, with only 44 days in comparison to 58. For “Traditional Residential,” 471 sold last month, compared to 455 in February 2021. Average sales price increased by 14.9%, with an average of $338,936 for properties. Average DOM continues to be historically low at just 34 days.
